Welcome to the sixth year of the Great Big Property Gig, which will be held in Glasgow's Renfrew Ferry on Thursday, 21 April. Following on from a fantastic gig last year, this year we're all set for another superb event and look forward to raising more funds for our two nominated charities, Cancer Research UK and the Scottish Spina Bifida Association.
The first ever Great Big Property Gig was held in 2006 and proved a tremendous success, with four bands playing to an audience of 500 and raising a total of £4,500.
Last year's gig, which was held at the O2 ABC2, was again a huge hit despite the credit crunch, with a lively crowd enjoying the music and raising lots of much needed cash for both charities, both of which do invaluable work throughout the country. Since we started we've raised more than £70,000 for charity so let's make the 2011 Gig even bigger and better - let's make it happen!
A huge thanks to everyone for their support at last year's Gig: we really rocked out in 2010 and showed everyone what the Glasgow property sector is made of!
