Property Rocks!

A good cause. A great night out. Join us!

The Great Big Property Gig was first established as an alternative to the usual 'black tie' dinners that the property industry in Scotland often uses to raise money for charity.

The objective was to hold an event that was much more 'happening' and would appeal to a wide range of age groups, as well as being an opportunity for staff, friends and family to enjoy a different kind of night out.

The first Gig, held in 2006, was a great success with four bands playing to an audience of 500. Funds raised for Cancer Research UK and Spina Bifida amounted to £4,500.

In May 2007, we relocated to The Ferry, recently refurbished and relocated to the Broomielaw in Glasgow. With a capacity crowd eager for entertainment, the bands performed well into the night and the event raised a staggering £23,168.

2008's event, held at the O2 ABC1 in Glasgow, raised an incredible £28,500, and again the capacity crowd had a fantastic night of entertainment and fun with first-class live music provided by the bands.

Last year, we returned with the 'Recession Sessions' to the O2 ABC2, where, despite the credit crunch, we were delighted to raise £10,000 and again play to a capacity crowd. In total, £70,000 has been raised for charity by the Great Big Property Gig.
